about the artist
Eddie Begay, 68, is a second generation Navajo silversmith from Sanders, Arizona. He has been crafting one of a kind jewelry for over 40 years. Every piece of jewelry has his signature in it. Working with sterling silver and a wide variety of traditional and modern stones from all around the world. He has mastered all different techniques to create his pieces. One technique is working with cuttlefish bones. He uses them to cast the silver for his bracelets, necklaces, and other pieces of work. His journey in silversmithing began at a young age, observing and learning from his father, who was an accomplished silversmith. This foundation allowed him to develop and shape his own unique style. One of a Kind Jewelry.
